Starting this month, Air China will provide ADSL connections for passengers flying on international routes.

The technology adopted for this service is provided by Connexion, a subsidiary of Boeing.

The service will be formally launched on January 23, 2006.

Connexion has decided to price the Internet access charge for the airline to US$26.95 for a 24-hour period.

Besides Air China, Lufthansa, SAS, JAL, Singapore Airlines, ANA, Korean Air and El Al provide services via Connexion.
