The Beijing Municipal Copyright Bureau says that it is investigating the illegal behavior of some websites and within a month will publish the name of these websites along with the 45 online copyright violation cases handed over by State Copyright Administration.

BMCB says it carried out the investigation at the behest of SCA, and it will focus on illegal copyright violations involving online film, music, software and textbooks.

BMCB says that the blacklist of the websites will be included into the enterprise credit system to serve as a reference for evaluating a company’s credit in the future.
