Lenovo Wins Inspection-Free Qualification For Nine Computer Products

China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has announced the awarding of inspection-free qualification to nine of Lenovo’s (LNVGY) exported PC products.

Export goods inspection-free qualification is the highest credit level granted to enterprises in recognition of their fine goods quality. It can pave the way for enterprises to apply for relevant preferential pass-custom policies, create a more lenient exporting environment for them and bring them more policy advantages. This is the first time that the qualification has ever been granted to a Chinese domestic PC company.

Lenovo began to accept AQSIQ’s review in 2007 and passed a general inspection in March this year. Nine kinds of Lenovo’s PCs made by four factories which are located in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Huiyang, respectively, finally won the qualification.

Obtaining the inspection-free qualification will help speed up Lenovo’s expansion in the international market.
