Apple Wins Trademark Lawsuit Against Chinese Electronics Company

Shenyang Municipal Intermediate People’s Court has announced its decision on a trademark infringement lawsuit between the U.S.-based Apple and the Shenzhen-based New Apple Concept Digital Technology Co., Ltd., which orders the Shenzhen-based electronics company to pay CNY400,000 compensation to Apple for trademark and logo infringements.
AQSIQ: Products Not Meeting Energy Efficiency Standard Must Not Be Produced Or Sold In China

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China disclosed that from March 1, 2009, six categories of products must be affixed with an energy efficiency logo and those that do not meet the relevant energy efficiency standard must not be produced, sold or imported into China.
